In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.

About Me

It's always difficult to talk about yourself. I'm a 25-year-old American, graduating from the University of Washington. I'm with the School of the Environment and Forestry Sciences. I'm getting a Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Science and Resource Management. Graduating in March, 2018. My focus is Wildlife Conservation and Statistical Analysis. What a mouthful. I'm a bird watcher and a hiker, an oil painter and a baker, a classical music fan and a science fanatic.

I haven't traveled that much. A few weeks here and there, mostly in Central and South America. This is my first experience in the Asiatic region, and my first time traveling with an environmentally trained eye. Part of the first Grand Challenge Impact Lab in Bangalore, India. This was an intensive class and internship working with nonprofits and nongovernmental organizations. I was working on a project that was improving the access of education in rural areas in India. Being a student of life, I talked to anyone who spoke English and pursued many different conversations that involve the environmental status of Bangalore.  I decided to record and share what I have learned. What are the issues, who's working on them, and where is it going?

I hope to help you understand as much as I do; which is arguably nothing at all. But what is the point of getting an education if I keep it to myself?

Join me through the ideas, misconceptions, hopes, and heartbreaks.

Ask me to clarify, quantify, rationalize.

Ask me anything.
